We investigate alternatives to conventional antibiotics, from bacteriophages and antimicrobial peptides to probiotics and virulence-targeting agents, to bypass the problem of resistance. Through chemical biology and synthetic biology, we harness host-microbe interactions to build a safer, post-antibiotic future for human health.
